Many have died for your right to cast it, many more in this world would die for the chance.
vow, that was touching !!
Oh dear, again we’re on opposite sides of a question ;> but the main thing is I’ve been worried about how you and your husband were doing because you haven’t posted and now I glad to know you’re still kicking.
Good to have you back!
I, too, have been worried. Glad to see you posting. This is a great response to all those who say “I support the troops, but not the war.” When you are being shot at, it is very hard to amke that distinction, because the bad guys see such statements as support for their desired aims. Thus, they fight harder.
That was the way it was for we VN vets and it still holds true (except that the protesters admitted that they didn’t support us, either.)
Every Marine returning from Iraq or Afghanistan to whom I have spoken has nothing but contempt for the people who spout such drivel. You are either for them or against them–there is no middle ground.
Praying for you and all of your family.
Yes, go vote. Here is another reason.
